Swimming pool cleaners
Today swimming pool cleaners
come in many varying shapes and sizes. A pool cleaner can
hover around the bottom of your pool and or skim the top of
the pools surface.
You can buy pool cleaners
that clean the pool automatically, although the cost is
considerably higher compared to the manual cleaners. The
time you want to spend cleaning your pool will determine
which type you want to buy. Some pool owners prefer to clean
the pool manually, it gives them time to be alone and
reflect. Being around water can have a calming effect.
The automatic pool cleaner
is a device that leapt right into the hearts of pool owners
and service technicians alike.
These are described below
and are broken into three categories; suction side, pressure
side and cleaners and robots.
Suction side cleaners are the most common type of
cleaner found in American pools today.
Pressure side cleaners: Pressure side cleaners work
because of water pressure. A pressure-type cleaner will use
a replaceable filter bag that traps the dirt and pollutants.
Robotic cleaners: Robotic cleaners need to be
plugged into an electrical outlet (also known as electric
cleaners). They have a self contained pump and filter
system, and normally trap dirt with an internal filter.
